![]() With it contained in Docker, the chances of Plex breaking due to a DSM update would be very low. And who knows if Synology releases another update or patch that breaks Plex and a migration or rebuild would be required again. It would be a massive inconvenience if something messed up and I had to redo it over again. After spending over a week scanning for metadata for all my media, setting up the library to the way I like it, TV show intro detection, etc. Lastly, while you already went through it, is the migration process would really increase my stress level. ![]() I do like using the trakt plugin to sync my watched and playtime data to Trakt The second, less of an issue, is no more plugin support. I run hyper backups and have snapshots on for my Docker data folders as well as Plex Data in an off chance I need to quickly restore data. ![]() The biggest is not easily able to back up the entire Plex data folder after migration, especially within the DSM GUI unless you have set up access to /var somehow (or maybe it is easily accessible in DSM7?).
